MPA Health and Safety Awards scheme

Prestigious annual awards scheme invites entries as part of mineral industry’s drive towards Zero Harm

THE Mineral Products Association (MPA) is inviting entries to its 2016 Health and Safety Awards scheme, which is open to all with an interest in health and safety.

Entries are welcomed from every type of organization in the supply chain, including MPA members, non-members, contractors, consultants, manufacturers, suppliers, regulators etc, as well as joint entries with a contractor, supplier or another partner.

Individual entry forms are available for each of the topic categories and participants can enter as many categories as they want, up to an overall maximum of 16 entries per company.

‘Entry Criteria Guidance’ and ‘Image Guidance’ are available on the www.safequarry.com and www.safeprecast.com websites, along with the latest in the line of MPA ‘Sharing Good Practice’ guides containing links to previous winning entries.

The deadline for entries to this year’s scheme is Monday 4 April 2016. All completed forms should be emailed to: mhsawards@mineralproducts.org

Day-to-day management of the 2016 scheme will be handled by MPA health & safety manager Kevin Stevens (kevin.stevens@mineralproducts.org), to whom any questions and queries should be directed.
