Company introducing new range of mobile, modular and static washing and classifying equipment

CRUSHING and screening equipment specialists McCloskey International have today announced the launch of McCloskey Washing Systems (MWS), a new business division focused on designing and manufacturing a full range of mobile, modular and static material and mineral washing and classifying equipment.

Although McCloskey International have been producing equipment for the quarrying, recycling, mining and industrial sand sectors for more than 30 years, the company says this new division has been created to provide 100% focus on the development of class-leading innovative and efficient equipment for washing and classifying across multiple applications.

Speaking ahead of the launch, McCloskey International’s president and chief executive officer, Paschal McCloskey, said: ‘Our customers are always looking for more modern, flexible and cost-effective solutions, and our customer-driven approach to product development has led us to invest significantly in the establishment of this new division, the aim being to design and manufacture high-quality washing equipment that is easy to install, maintain and operate.’

According to McCloskey, the products produced by the new division will deliver significant advantages to customers, including lower cost of ownership and lower cost of production, making more projects viable for their businesses.

‘Global requirements are becoming more stringent and McCloskey International are in the perfect position to provide innovative equipment to assist customers in meeting these demands,’ said Sean Loughran, director of McCloskey Washing Systems.

‘The entrepreneurial spirit that McCloskey were founded on is very much alive; the business continues to be driven by passion to design and build the best equipment, and this same ethos exists within MWS.

‘Our team of highly skilled and experienced washing design engineers have spent the past 12 months developing an impressive range of washing equipment that, I am delighted to announce, is ready to be launched on to the world stage.’

McCloskey have a host of international trade shows and customer open days planned for the remainder of 2016 and throughout 2017, and introduction of the division and new product line within the global dealer network has already begun and will continue up to the formal launch of MWS at the 2017 CONEXPO/CON-AGG show in Las Vegas, from 7–11 March, where the first products will be unveiled and put on display.

Mr Loughran added: ‘These are exciting times at McCloskey and I am delighted to be leading this new division. With our core focus on developing highly innovative and efficient equipment and our company-wide emphasis on supporting our customers, I have no doubt MWS will quickly be seen as the market leader in the washing industry.’
