Malcolm Construction purchase new Terex ADT

Terex TA300 ADT

Company strengthens its earthmoving fleet with new addition of TA300 articulated dumptruck

WITH a business relationship stretching back 20 years, Malcolm Construction have once again called on Terex Trucks to provide a 28-tonne hauler for use in their plant hire division.

The contractor has taken delivery of a TA300 articulated dumptruck which is being put to the test alongside a number of excavators at a land restoration project in South Lanarkshire.

Specified with scissor tailgates, flotation tyres and Malcolm Group’s unique wrapped livery, the machine was supplied by Terex Trucks’ UK dealers TDL Equipment.

Showcasing what 65 years of manufacturing know-how looks like near the village of Lesmahagow, the Terex TA300 truck will play a key part in the development of a new windfarm that will generate enough electricity to power the equivalent of more than 300 homes.

Lyle Sibbald, regional sales manager for TDL Equipment, said: ‘Malcolm Construction are long-term customers of TDL. Among the key reasons they like Terex Trucks are the reliability and high performance of the machines. Another is because they’re a Scotland-based firm in close proximity to Terex Trucks’ Motherwell factory.

‘Malcolm were looking at other brands but knew that they wouldn’t get the bespoke service and the great support from any other manufacturer. The company has a great customer, dealer and manufacturer relationship with TDL and Terex Trucks.’
