Kiverco launch new compact plant range

Kiverco compact plant range

Latest equipment line-up offers optimum efficiency and flexibility for waste-processing operators

KIVERCO have introduced a new range of compact plant designed to provide an alternative to traditional ways of processing waste. Developed for SMEs or mobile contractors, the company says certain modular components can be selected and set up within hours; providing all the benefits of a high-performance static plant without any compromise.

The compact plant range from Kiverco includes: a feeder trommel; a picking station; and a density separator. And all items of equipment come with various options and configurations, offering the customer maximum flexibility to deliver a bespoke solution for their waste-handling needs.

The plant has been specially designed to process waste materials up to 150 cubic metres per hour. With the added advantage of mobility across the compact plant range, relocation is made easy and the processing equipment can be operated within a few hours of it arriving on site.

This is particularly ideal for sites where space may be at a premium or where there is limited infrastructure and no direct power supply. The machines are diesel-electric powered with the option of mains electric power, which also eliminates the risk of hydraulic oil spills during operation.

The compact picking station combines air and magnetic separation with manual sorting in one complete unit. This allows the recovery of many materials, including hardcore, wood, metal and solid waste for refuse-derived fuel. Ranging from two to six bays, the picking stations can accommodate a wide range of skip sizes beneath the picking cabin.

The compact density separator uses the latest in air separation technology. With fast and simple on-site set-up, it efficiently separates material into useable fractions to produce clean products. The self-contained density separator reduces the amount of material that needs to be sent to landfill; delivering considerable savings in areas where landfill taxes and transport costs are high.

The compact feeder trommel carries out the initial screening of different sized materials. A key feature of the machine is that it is fully enclosed with drum outlet covers, which minimizes noise and dust. The feeder trommel has been designed to be adaptive, with two- or three-way split configuration, and is suitable for use across a wide range of applications.
