JCB secure £11 million order from Boels Rental

JCB machines for Boels Rental

Dutch plant hire firm places order for 250 new JCB machines including telehandlers and wheeled excavators

JCB have won a major order for 250 new machines from one of Europe’s leading plant hire companies in a deal worth £11 million. It is the fourth order in four years that Netherlands-based Boels Rental have awarded to JCB and means the company now has more than 1,300 JCB machines operating across Europe.

Jo Bamford, JCB group managing director of global accounts, commented: ‘This is a very significant order and we are delighted to have secured this important business from Boels Rental.’

 

The latest order includes telescopic handlers with lift capacities between 2.5 and 4 tonnes. Boels Rental have also purchased new JCB 411 and 427 wheeled loading shovels, and JS145W and JS175W wheeled excavators. All the machines are being supplied with JCB’s LiveLink telematics system which monitors service requirements and protects them from theft.

Established in 1977, Boels Rental have more than 335 outlets and operate from more than 1,800 rental locations across Europe, including in The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic and Italy. The business employs more than 2,600 people.
