IROCK introduce TC-20 track impact crusher

IROCK TC-20 impact crusher

New mobile crusher model delivers greater efficiency, reliability and precision

IROCK Crushers have launched their new TC-20 track impact crusher, which combines a large feeder, a high-performance four-bar impactor and heavy-duty components for exceptional efficiency, reliability and precision.

The TC-20 crusher produces a uniform cubical product, and the use of IROCK’s hydraulically adjustable aprons provide better control over sizing. The unit has the versatility to process soft to medium rock, recycled concrete and recycled asphalt.

The rotor measures 40in by 56in and can process a variety of materials up to 24in in diameter. A 440hp Caterpillar C-13 ACERT Tier 3 engine powers the crusher, which can process up to 500 tonnes/h.

The track crusher features a fixed Hardox hopper with a 15yd3 capacity. It is paired with a 52in by 16ft vibrating grizzly feeder, which has three-quarter inch liners on the pan and sidewalls. The feeder is up to 3ft longer than comparable units, making it possible to feed material with a large wheel loader.

The TC-20 features a standard crusher bypass chute to reduce unnecessary wear on the crusher. With this chute, fines that fall through the grizzly feeder can either bypass the crusher and mix back in with the crushed material or be removed via the dirt conveyor with a simple adjustment to the flop gate.

The TC-20 also incorporates IROCK’s exclusive Rock Box, an innovative alternative to discharge chutes found on similar units. The Rock Box unit uses a shelf system with abrasion resistant wear bars that allow crushed material to build up and act as a wear liner, which cuts down on costly labour and wear parts.

The 48in wide discharge conveyor can stockpile up to 10 ft 11in high. Operators can hydraulically lower or raise the conveyor to adjust drop heights and make maintenance easier.

The TC-20 is highly portable, with 20-inch track pads for easy maneuverability around a job site or on to a trailer for transportation to other locations. The unit comes standard with a wireless remote control for full plant operation, with two tracking speeds as standard.

To reduce cleaning and for dust control, the TC-20 features a standard dust-suppression system. Catwalks provide convenient access to crucial maintenance and cleaning points.
