Inductions made easy with launch of induct.me

Offshore industry specialist introduces new induction software tool for use by onshore industries

A NEW online induction software tool – induct.me – has been launched with the aim of providing companies with an easy-to-use system for the quick and efficient induction of new and existing personnel and contractors.

induct.me forms a new part of SeaRoc Group, developers of the offshore renewables industry’s marine-management software, SeaPlanner.

Having observed how time-consuming and admin heavy the induction process was for clients within their own business, SeaRoc put induct.me into development with the aim of saving other businesses time and money, and reducing risk.

The web-based software allows companies to take full control of their inductions by creating their own personalized induction process, ensuring new personnel and contractors are fully inducted before their arrival on site. Personnel can submit personal details, upload all mandatory certification, watch site induction videos and answer site induction Q&As.

Andrew Stagg, induct.me product owner, said: ‘Having introduced the product successfully to the offshore renewable sector in 2014, we are excited to launch induct.me to the wider market. The software offers companies across all sectors a really simple way of controlling their induction process and managing personnel certification.’

According to SeaRoc Group, the software is already proving its benefits to the onshore construction sector and to health and safety managers across the UK.
