GTAccess hit the heights with Manitou

GTAccess invest in Manitou machines

Access equipment rental firm invests in a new fleet of Manitou rough terrain articulated access platforms

WORCESTERSHIRE-based GTAccess, one of the UK’s largest independently owned access companies, have purchased a number of new Manitou rough terrain articulated access platforms to meet the demands of their customer base for efficient and productive machinery capable of working at heights up to 20m.

The new fleet includes Manitou 160ATJ and 160ATJ+ access platform models, both of which have a working height of 16m. The latter has a larger basket (2.4m x 0.9m) and increased basket capacity of around 400kg including three people. A larger storage area for tools and equipment is also available.

Completing the Manitou line up for GTAccess are the 180ATJ (18m working height) and 200ATJ (20m) articulated access platforms.

The all-terrain capability of the Manitou ATJ access platforms is an important factor in the popularity of the machines on site. With three steering modes, hydrostatic transmission, four-wheel drive, heavy-duty axles and superior underbelly protection, the platforms are suitable for work on all ground types and can operate with ease on gradients up to 40%.
