Eurovia UK participate in International Safety Day

Eurovia Safety Day

UK operations join Eurovia SAS business units around the world in range of health and safety activities

ON 18 May 2017, Eurovia UK took part in their fifth International Safety Day, which not only encompassed all of the group’s UK divisions and businesses, but also all Eurovia SAS business units worldwide.

In total, some 38,000 employees from the different Eurovia SAS companies shared in safety-themed activities to encourage them to focus on safety and consider how they can make a difference, under the banner of ‘Everyone’s Responsibility. Everyone’s Safety’.

Events on the day included hard-hitting safety films and a multitude of interactive workshops, presentations and events hosted by the company’s divisional managers and their management teams, with the support of Eurovia’s health, safety and environmental advisors.

As well as plant and vehicle operations, occupational health and the importance of employee well-being were among the key themes and messages highlighted on the day.

Eurovia say all messages and feedback from the event have been captured and will be shared across the global businesses to promote and encourage a safer working ethos, thereby continuing to ensure that the safety of the company’s employees and all those affected by the company’s work is paramount at all times.
