Double appointment at Raymond Brown

Hampshire-based firm announces two strategic appointments in its minerals and recycling arm

RAYMOND Brown Group have announced two strategic appointments with Rob McGready and Andy Sykes (pictured) taking up new positions in the business.

Mr McGready, former area operations manager with Raymond Brown Minerals & Recycling (RBMR), has become head of waste operations, while Mr Sykes has joined RBMR from Raymond Brown Construction (RBC) as area operations manager.

Mr McGready has more than 25 years’ experience in the minerals and recycling trade and has been with RBMR for the last three years. In his new role he will head operations at waste-transfer sites at Thruxton, Casbrook Park in Romsey and the company’s A303 Recycling Facility near Andover.

Mr Sykes, who has been with the Group for more than 26 years, joins the minerals and recycling arm of the business for the first time having managed projects for RBC dating back to the 1980s. He will now manage RBMR’s quarries and recycling operations.

Commenting on the appointments, RBMR director Mark Isaac said: ‘Rob and Andy are both incredibly experienced individuals and their appointments demonstrate the wealth of talent throughout RBMR and across the Group.’
