Doosan Demo Days prove a great success

Doosan demonstration day

Company welcomes nearly 500 customers to new, larger venue in the Czech Republic

BASED on the model of last year’s very successful inaugural Heavy Days event, Doosan Infracore Construction Equipment welcomed nearly 500 existing and prospective customers to this year’s Demo Days events held in June and July 2012 in the Czech Republic.

Held at the Kozli Quarry, close to Pisek, south-west of the Doosan Bobcat manufacturing plant and training centre at Dobris, the Demo Days had attendees from 18 countries as far apart as UK and Ireland, Russia, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates.

Organized by the Doosan EMEA Demonstration team led by demonstration manager Arnaud Gabarre, the decision to move the Demo Days to a larger venue to meet customer requests to try out a larger number of Doosan machines in one place, while maintaining the friendly atmosphere of the events, proved to be a great success.

At the event, customers had the opportunity to try out a wide selection of Doosan heavy products and attachments including crawler and wheeled excavators, wheel loaders, articulated dump trucks (ADTs) and heavy-duty telescopic handlers in true working conditions.

In particular, customers were able to gain first-hand experience of the very latest Stage IIIB-compliant crawler excavators, wheel loaders and ADTs from Doosan that have just been launched or are due for launch later in the year.

Among the models being tried out were the new DX180LC-3, DX300LC-3 and DX340LC-3 crawler excavators; the DL200-3 and DL350-3 wheel loaders and the DA30 and DA40 ADTs.

The DX700LC and DX520LC – the two largest models in the Doosan crawler excavator range – were also put through their paces at the quarry, while other machines from the company’s existing range were available for customers to try out.
