CP Dynes choose Bell Equipment at first sight

Chelmsford-based groundworks contractor purchases Bell ADT from the stand at ConExpo

GROUNDWORK and drainage specialists CP Dynes have purchased an articulated dumptruck from Bell Equipment for the first time, after being impressed by the machine at the major US construction industry showcase ConExpo.

CP Dynes, based in Chelmsford, Essex, are one of the leading deep-drainage and large bore specialists in the UK and Ireland. As part of their commitment to customer service, the company replaces vehicles within its fleet every three years, which means that company principal Camillus Dynes is always on the lookout for high-quality machines.

It was for this reason that he travelled to Las Vegas to view the latest innovations in construction equipment at ConExpo and discovered the Bell E-series, the next generation of the company’s renowned ADT technology.

After being shown the 30-tonne Bell B30E on the stand by Nick Learoyd, managing director of Bell Equipment UK, Mr Dynes (pictured far left) was impressed enough to order a machine directly from the stand.

‘I knew of Bell Equipment by reputation, but I’d never had direct experience of using the brand,’ he explained. ‘I liked the look and feel of the B30E straight away, and the more I heard about its technical specification, allied to the service and support offered by Bell, I felt it was the ideal opportunity to introduce Bell to our fleet.’

Launched into the UK in 2013, the Bell E-series presents an evolution that builds upon the proven legacy of the successful D-series, to deliver increased production payloads, lower daily operating costs, superior ride quality and uncompromised safety standards.

Key among the machine’s advantages are unrivalled fuel efficiency, with the lowest cost per tonne on the market – a quality that has already seen the E-series selected for use by major names in quarrying, earthmoving and plant hire.

For CP Dynes, the Bell B30E will be primarily used to support the company’s drainage contracts. ‘The machine is robust, fuel-efficient and operator-friendly, and we’re sure it will be an invaluable addition to our fleet,’ said Mr Dynes.

‘I’m delighted that CP Dynes have opted to purchase a Bell ADT,’ added Nick Learoyd (pictured far right). ‘This confirms the value for brands like ours in attending superior trade exhibitions, because there is no better substitute when choosing a machine than to see it for yourself.’
