Covers off

JCB will be taking the wraps off at least six new machines at Bauma 2001 including their biggest-ever tracked excavator, the 46-tonne JS460.

Built at JCB Heavy Products in Uttoxeter with core components sourced from key Japanese suppliers, the machine incorporates the spacious JCB Eurocab which offers good all-round visibility.

The machine also features the AMS advanced management control system which provides the dual advantages of in-depth diagnostics and precise control of the engine, pump, electrical and hydraulic systems to suit various work applications.
