Two-day Cement Industry Suppliers’ Forum conference and annual dinner in Stratford-upon-Avon
THE Cement Industry Suppliers’ Forum (CISF), which aims to develop contact and communication between the cement industry and its suppliers, is holding its 2015 conference at the Holiday Inn, Stratford-upon-Avon, from 13–14 October.
This year’s programme brings together speakers from various backgrounds: cement makers, analysts, trade associations and suppliers. There will be an overview of the current state of the industry, with an analysis of economic trends and an update on the impact of environmental regulations on the cement industry.
Themes to be explored include the handling of alternative fuels, development of modern materials, packing, logistics and maintenance of plant. New and recent capital projects will be reviewed, with suppliers outlining developments in technology. Suppliers’ presentations from the podium will be supplemented by an exhibition in the hotel’s coffee lounge.
The conference fees (£255 + VAT for CISF members and £355 + VAT for non-members) cover full catering from midday on Tuesday to lunch on Wednesday, a programme of topical presentations, the CISF Annual Dinner and overnight accommodation at the Holiday Inn.
