THE 36th Annual Cement and Concrete Science Conference will take place from 5–6 September 2016 at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, in Cardiff.

Organized by the Cementitious Materials Group of The Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining, the conference will provide an opportunity for academic researchers, students and industrialists to meet and discuss their research on topics including, among others:

 

 

  • Cement hydration and microstructure
  • Alternative binders and their application
  • Concrete durability and performance
  • Use of waste materials in cement and concrete
  • Cement and concrete sustainability issues.
