Breedon open new concrete tile plant in Northern Ireland
New Lisburn factory increases production capacity by more than 80% and incorporates sustainable manufacturing practices
BREEDON Group plc have opened a new £5 million state-of-the-art concrete roof tile production facility in Lisburn, Northern Ireland. The plant – which has been built with sustainability and energy efficiency in mind – will increase Breedon’s tile production capacity in the Belfast region by more than 80%, from 12 million to 22 million roof tiles a year.
The investment will also enhance the company’s supply and delivery capabilities, shortening lead times, as well as setting a new benchmark in terms of tile manufacturing efficiency, output, and sustainability in Northern Ireland.
