Bauma debut for Terex Finlay machines
Company to launch the 883 Spaleck mobile screener and I-100 impact crusher at this year’s show
TEREX Finlay will be exhibiting three machines at Bauma – the new Terex Finlay 883 Spaleck mobile screener, the new Terex Finlay I-100 impact crusher, and the Terex Finlay J-1170 jaw crusher.
‘We look forward to returning to Bauma 2013. The timing is perfect and we will officially launch two new machines at the show, the I-100 impact crusher and the 883 Spaleck screen,’ said Terex Finlay’s sales & marketing director, Nigel Irvine.
‘The I-100 impactor raises the bar in its class offering unprecedented levels of production in both recycling and quarrying applications. The 883 Spaleck screener with its special stepped top-deck design and state-of-the-art flip-flow technology on the bottom deck will put this machine in a class of its own. We will also be exhibiting the J-1170 jaw crusher which we recently launched,’ he said.
At the heart of the new Terex Finlay 883 Spaleck (pictured) is a two-deck German-designed and constructed high-performance screenbox. According the manufacturer, its processing capabilities and application flexibility make the machine the only all-in-one mobile solution for processing difficult waste, including recycled materials, slag, C&D waste, shredded metal, wood, compost, mulch, ores, coal and soil. The Spaleck heavy-duty vibrating screen is said to be virtually blockage- and maintenance-free and has a processing range from 1mm to 120mm.
The new Terex Finlay I-100 direct-drive 860mm x 860mm horizontal impact crusher is designed to deliver high levels of production in both recycling and quarrying applications. The robust and proven Terex chamber achieves excellent reduction ratios and highly consistent product shape. The machine’s advanced electronic control system monitors and regulates the heavy-duty vibrating feeder with integrated pre-screen, maintaining a consistent feed of material into the impact chamber for optimal crushing conditions.
The Terex Finlay J-1170 is a high-performance primary mobile jaw crusher built around the renowned and aggressive Terex 1,100mm x 700mm jaw crusher, which has a proven track record in recycling, aggregate production and mining applications. The jaw chamber provides excellent material reduction and product sizing in the processing of blasted quarry rock and ore material. The jaw chamber is also available with optional hydraulic release – a useful feature when crushing construction and demolition debris.
