The Bank of England representatives met with Brendan McGurgan, managing director of CDE, who said: ‘Mr McCafferty’s visit provided us with a forum to discuss relevant economic issues in the UK relevant to our industry.

‘As an advisory member of the UK Innovation Research Centre, Mr McCafferty’s tour of our new innovation centre was particularly relevant as we were able to highlight the latest production innovations in wet material processing.

‘We appreciated the opportunity to provide insight into our industry and hopefully to influence future policy decisions.’
