A double win for Robson at the Sheffield Star Business Awards

Geo Robson & Co Ltd have won two prestigious industry awards

The Sheffield Star Business Awards, organized by the Sheffield Star newspaper, span the full range of business activities, companies, individual entrepreneurs, new and established businesses and those who have enjoyed international success.

The awards celebrate Sheffield's regeneration over recent years. The awards night reflects the vibrancy of Sheffield's business activities, from manufacturing to the digital and IT sectors.
 
Awards were presented at a gala dinner in Sheffield City Hall, at which TV presenter, comedian and comedy writer Clive Anderson was the guest of honour and principal speaker. Additional entertainment was supplied by impressionist Kevin Connelly and a host of characters from TV and politics he impersonated.  
 
Robson were nominated for a total of four awards winning the following two:

Excellence in Manufacturing Award

International Business Award

Presented to the company that has demonstrated significant growth and development internationally, an understanding of its overseas markets and a strategy for further growth through international trade.

Robson have manufactured mechanical handling equipment for over 100 years. Exporting worldwide to all sectors of industry including: airports, power generation, steel works, cement works and oil deep sea drilling and exploration.
