Considering your prowess in the quarrying industry, it would be fair to say you know a thing or two about geology. So you’ll be well aware that New Zealand is a nation that truly punches above its weight in terms of natural assets. Stunning beaches, awe-inspiring alpine peaks, unspoiled forests – and since we’re on the subject of assets, we think you’d be an ideal one for our team, New Zealand’s largest aggregates company.

We are New Zealand’s largest aggregates company, GBC Winstone, an integrated business which takes products and services to market under three trusted brands; Golden Bay Cement, Winstone Transport and Winstone Aggregates.

The opportunity

We are seeking a Quarry Supervisor to provide leadership to one of our quarrying operations based in Auckland, New Zealand.

You will be responsible for a team of fixed plant operators and provide strong down to earth leadership whilst managing and directing the activities of skilled workers and contractors to achieve maximum performance and efficiencies.

About you

We’re looking to speak to people with relevant qualifications, and previous quarry management experience, including leadership of staff; sound technical knowledge and the business acumen to drive profit and control costs. Training will be given to the successful applicant if required to achieve this.

We’re continuing to build on our culture of excellence, so we’re looking for people who are passionate about driving optimum performance across all areas of our operations.

What next?

If this sounds like you, and you’ve got a genuine interest in opportunities across New Zealand – we’d love to talk further.

This is a truly exciting time to align your abilities with ours. In addition to experiencing the enviable work-life balance the New Zealand lifestyle offers, you'll gain access to the unrivalled development and training opportunities that the Fletcher Building Group has on offer.
