Quarry Manager - Scotland

Breedon Aggregates Scotland is a major producer of aggregates, ready mixed concrete and asphalt in the North of Scotland supplying the building and road construction industries with a comprehensive range of materials.

We have a vacancy for a Quarry Manager in our Scottish business:

Reporting to the Area Production Manager, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient management and operation of the quarry covering the production of aggregates, ready mix concrete, asphalt and distribution of our products. Applicants should have previous managerial experience although we will support the successful candidate currently on a career path to quarry management, if this was appropriate. You will hold an NVQ level 4 in Health, Safety & Environmental within the extractives industry and ideally be a member of the Institute of Quarrying. You will also possess good hands-on leadership skills, the ability to manage a team in a busy environment and communicate effectively with other functions within the business.
