Land and Planning Manager - Bristol

Hanson is one of the UK’s largest suppliers of construction materials and part of the HeidelbergCement Group.

We are seeking an experienced land and planning manager to join our land and mineral resources team in the south west.

Based at our offices in Chipping Sodbury, Bristol, you will provide a regional consultancy style service to the business and focus on maintaining a sustainable supply of essential raw materials.

Applicants should be creative, with the ability to work independently and have a minimum of five years' post-qualification experience in minerals planning and estate management, or related business. 

The successful candidate will take a lead role in planning and development projects, and provide specialist property and planning advice to senior management across a broad portfolio, including quarries, concrete plants, cement terminals, asphalt plants, rail depots, wharves and other distribution facilities.

Excellent communication, teamwork and negotiation skills are essential for this role, which offers a competitive salary, company car and a comprehensive benefits package, including a bonus scheme.
