Calculation on Dredger capacity in metric tonnes per hours in terms of extraction of sand from rivers?

I would very much like to know the extraction of sand in metric tonnes for suction pump type dredgers in rivers? I worked in a company that issued permit to clients for extraction of sand & gravel,unfortunately clients only gave us the registered gross tonnage of the dredger vessal/boat but didn't gave the pump capacity? can I know the pump capacity from the tonnage of the dredger?

This is not my field of expertise, but I think the two parameters are not connected. Pump capacity tells you about extraction rate. The size of the vessel tells you how much sand and gravel can be stored on board before it needs return for unloading. The vessel size may also be dictated by conditions in the river. I think you need to ask for pump rating.
