Hillhead 2010

Set in the rugged environment of Tarmac's Hillhead Quarry, Buxton, Hillhead 2010 is the world's biggest working demonstration for the quarrying, recycling and heavy construction industries.

The show, which takes place in June 2010, will feature the latest plant  and equipment presented by over 400 leading international companies. For 2010 the emphasis will be on providing visitor value through the presentation of the latest techniques and technologies designed to drive improvements in production efficiency, waste minimisation and cost saving.

A wide range of plant and equipment will once again be put to work in true quarry operating conditions. A rockpile is created before the event to provide material for the face loading and rock processing demonstration areas. Also, construction and demolition material is imported onto the site for processing in the recycling demonstration area during the three days of the exhibition.
