A6 - BS EN Standards

Requirements for aggregates are specified in a series of BS EN Standards that were introduced to comply with the EU Construction Products Directive. 

Whilst the important characteristics of aggregates used in the UK have not changed, the new Standards describe them in a different way to established practice.  Different test methods have also given different compliance criteria.
