Since our inception in 1987 Industrial Blower Services have grown from humble beginnings and surroundings to become the UK’s largest repair and service centre for roots type blowers. Along the way we have worked closely with all of the blower manufacturers to build up a bank of knowledge and experience that is second to none, not least that of Managing Director Graham Matthews.

The year of 1999 saw the arrival of Gary Killick. Gary bought with him a wealth of experience in the sliding vane vacuum pump industry, gained from his 10 years’ work experience at Hammond Engineering. This enabled IBS to expand into the sliding vane market and as a result we are now the sole European distributor for Blackmer (who acquired Hammond Engineering in the late 1990’s) and are able to repair and service all known models.

In 2008 IBS acquired PAG Sheetmetal in Hanwell, London providing the group with additional manufacturing facilities to complement its other activities.

We believe that our growth in structure and reputation are the result of our uncompromising approach to customer service and efficiency irrespective of the projects nature and size.

We constantly monitor advances in industrial blower technology and tailor our service to provide support for the newest and oldest machines thus affording industry valuable maintenance cost cutting opportunities.

Our aim is to meet our customers’ expectations and requirements by understanding their equipment and processes. Our experienced staff are able to analyse problems with faltering machinery and advise the most cost effective and rapid solution.

We strive to keep our clients system or production line working smoothly and are able to respond quickly to emergencies.

We serve the industrial, utility, manufacturing, road tanker, municipal and commercial sectors of the market.

With our experience of using blowers we have helped design a range of competitively priced, heavy duty portable vacuum loaders for collecting a wide range of wastes in quarries, tarmac plants, recycling plants, brickworks and block plants. 

Most waste or recycled material streams that will travel up a flexible hose can be collected by our vacuum loaders from inaccessible areas, below or above ground.

Our range of vacuum loaders have powers of up to 37kW and are easy and safe to use and will outlast many competing makes.

We have an extensive fleet of readily available hire units, both blower sets and vacuum loaders with a healthy UK depot network.

Our company is a leader in the industrial vacuum loader hire industry and as such will continue to try harder to supply our customers with exactly the machine they require.
