The Aggregates & Recycling Information Network
    • HBWF are the leading British manufacturer of high quality woven wire mesh. From our factory in Warrington, Cheshire, we have been manufacturing and supplying woven wire mesh throughout the quarry, mining and recycling industry since 1977.

All of our woven wire cloth is manufactured to ISO 9044. State-of-the-art machinery and our dedicated team of qualified experts manufacture wire cloth and wire cloth products to meet exacting customer demands. Our service and quality has gained us a reputation for being a reliable supplier that delivers high quality products.

In partnership with our sister company HAVER & BOECKER we are part of one of the world's largest wire weaving companies.

HBWF are approved to BS EN ISO 9001

      INDUSTRIAL WIRE MESH SCREENS
We manufacture a vast range of pre-crimped industrial wire mesh screens, suitable for all types of vibrating machines. We combine a wide range of aperture & wire diameters giving each screen its own characteristics in terms of strength & screening area. Our weave types include square mesh, long slot mesh, flat top & double crimp mesh.

Screens are available end tensioned, side tensioned or as flat screens. All screens can be manufactured in high tensile steel, hard drawn steel & stainless steel.

      TEST SIEVES
HAVER & BOECKER test sieves are distinguished by their especially high accuracy and stability. High quality frame materials, the extremely stable sieve structure which has been developed in-house, and careful machining guarantee long life and trouble free operation

Our classic woven wire mesh test sieves are available in all common diameters from 76.2mm to 400mm, in heights of 50mm and 25mm. Sieves are available with mesh sizes from 0.02mm to 125mm. The particularly smooth surface of their frames prevents cross contamination, and the sieve fabric retains its tension exceedingly well even after intensive use. We also manufacture ALPINE Air jet sieves, perforated based sieves and beechwood framed sieves.

HAVER & BOECKER test sieve cloths and test sieves are manufactured to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008.

In addition to the various sieve designs, matching accessories such as sieve covers and sieve pans are also available.

      TEST SIEVE SHAKERS
With our variety of test sieve shakers for dry and wet sieving, all materials can be classified including agglomerating grinding material and coarse-grained products.

The HAVER EML & UWL range of test sieve shakers is suitable for both dry & wet sieving. These shakers generate a 3D sieving action for fast and optimally reproducible sieving results. The EML range feature G-Control, an automatic self-readjusting amplitude system which fully compensates for natural oscillations of the sieving machine and subsurface, guaranteeing constant amplitude at all times.

The TYLER Ro-Tap RX range reproduce the circular and tapping motion of hand sieving but with an even mechanical action. Manufactured by W.S. Tyler, the American subsidiary of HAVER & BOECKER it is the mostly used test sieve shaker worldwide.

      PHOTO OPTICAL PARTICLE ANALYSIS (CPA)
The patented HAVER CPA measuring process is used to analyse grain sizes and grain shapes of dry and non-agglomerating particles of bulk materials from 10µm to 400mm.

HAVER CPA measuring instruments are based on digital image processing. A high-resolution digital line scan camera scans the particles in free-falling bulk materials against the background of an LED lighting array with a recording frequency of up to 28,000 line scans per second. The scanned lines are combined by the CPA to form an endless data record and the shadow projections of the particles are evaluated in real time in parallel with the measuring process. Up to 10,000 particles can be detected, analysed and counted every second. Due to a GigE camera interface the CPA devices can be operated using a notebook without additional hardware module (camera card). The GigE technology has a high transfer rate of up to 1,000 Mbits/s.

The robust technology is virtually maintenance free and is therefore absolutely fail-safe and works reliably even under extreme conditions. The CPA technology can be used to analyse coarse and fine materials such as gravel, sand, coke, coal, plastic granules, wood chippings, chemical and pharmaceutical product, fertilizers, foodstuffs and many more.
