Habasit Rossi Ltd is an affiliated company of Rossi SpA situated in Modena, Italy, one of the largest manufacturers of gear reducers and gearmotors in Europe.

In the UK we have an inventory value in excess of £1.0 million comprising of the company's comprehensive range of electric motors, brake motors, gear reducers and gearmotors. Our stock profile includes more than 10,000 assembled gear units and electric motors allowing for immediate dispatch throughout the UK and Ireland.

Habasit Rossi can offer gear units with a torque capacity of 20,000Nm from stock in the UK and gear units up to 400,000Nm from stock held in Italy.

Rossi SpA can accommodate a wide range of quality tests. These are usually requested by our customers with critical applications and require peace of mind to ensure that the gearboxes are fit for purpose. These tests include load testing prior to dispatch and individual conformance certificates can be provided, if required. 

We are pioneers in the development of concepts such as rigid mono-bloc gear casings, universal mounting and IEC motor fitments and all our designs are made with our customers in mind.

Our product range is one of the most comprehensive in the industrial power transmission field and includes:

• Parallel and right-angle shaft gear reducers and gearmotors up to 400kNM
• In line coaxial gear units and gearmotors to suit motors up to 75kW
• Right-angle worm drive gear units and gearmotors to suit motors up to 55kW
• Servo gearmotors
• Planetary gearmotors
• Electric motors up to 160kW 315M frame
• Brake motors up to 30kW 200L frame.
