International live demonstration show for the quarrying, recycling and heavy construction industries at Hillhead Quarry, Buxton, UK.Well where do I start on this one.
I don’t want to give a running commentary of the event as this will come out in the next week or two, but I really do want to express huge thanks to the Northern Ireland Branch committee and sub committee for their efforts over the past year or so for putting together a brilliant few days, especially John Gibson and David Johnston.
The welcome was exemplary (just as you would expect from the Irish) and having spoke to many of the people who attended the conference, welcome dinner and the famous Stone Crushers Ball, oh and not to forget the Crown. I think they all went home a little bleary eyed and with a smile on their face (I know I did) and I think this one will take some beating!
Also special thanks for the ladies outing where I still cannot get Sarah to stop talking about the trip to Tyrone Crystal and getting to cut her own piece (even though I haven't seen it, and she has explained it was a little wobbly).
I hope people who also attended would follow me in a round of thanks.
